We've made a few changes to the usual program - check them out! This year, Springfield Township students in grades Pre-K through 5 will will have an opportunity to register early for our summer reading challenge. Those registering in person between May 15 and June 7 will be able to select a book to keep, and will have first crack at enrolling in programs being offered this summer. Students are challenged to read 800 minutes between June 10 and July 31. As soon as that goal is met, they may bring their logs to the library and choose a book prize at that time. New this year, students may earn a second book by reading an additional 800 minutes. Summer events include reading and story time groups, weekly take-and-make crafts, campfire story time, a magic act, reading to therapy dogs, building paper rockets, survival skills training and more! Find reading logs and registration at the links above! Sponsored by the Friends of the Springfield Township Library.
