Library borrowing procedures and how to get a Springfield Township Library card.
  • Borrowing Procedures

    Library Cards :

    Please Present a Drivers License OR picture ID with a Springfield Township address.

    Two utility bills with Springfield Twp. address will also be accepted along with a picture ID or Drivers License.

    PLEASE NOTE: You must live in Springfield Township to obtain a Springfield Township Library card at no charge.  

    If you live in another community that is part of The Library Network, please go to your home library to obtain a card before coming to Springfield Township Library.  We cannot issue cards for other communities.

    If you live in a community that is not part of The Library Network, you may obtain a card for $100 per year (for a whole family) or $25 quarterly.

    Application for Library Card

    To Replace a Lost card, a fee of $1.00 will be charged

    Renewing Materials :

    Renew on the Library website

    Renew in person at the Check-Out Desk.

    New items are not renewable.  Items in demand by other patrons are also not renewable.  Items that allow renewals can only be renewed twice.  

    Lost or Damaged Items :

    If an item is lost or damaged enough that it cannot be repaired and returned to circulation,  the borrower will be charged the cost of the item.
