It was recently announced that Overdrive is scheduled to retire in 2022. Libby will be the primary app for all digital content needs moving forward.

Beginning in February of 2022, the Overdrive app will no longer be available to download via the Apple Store, Google Play, or Microsoft Store. 

How this will impact users:

• current Overdrive app users will continue to be able to use the app
• new users who search for Overdrive will be redirected to the Libby app 

The Overdrive team hopes to transition a majority of its users to Libby by the end of 2022. 

New to the Libby app? 

• The Libby app is available through the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and Microsoft Store
• Libby is an easy to use, free service made by the same people who brought you Overdrive! 
• Through the Libby app, you can access free e-books, audio books and digital magazines
• Like Overdrive, Libby links to all digital content through your library card
