Part-time Circulation Assistant

POSITION: Circulation Assistant
REPORTS TO: Head of Circulation/Library Director
DAYS PER WEEK: 2 evenings and 2 Saturdays. Flexibility is a must.
PAY RATE: $15 per hour

Preference will be given to applicants with an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree and/or 2+ years of library experience.

Job Responsibilities:
• Checking-in/out of library materials
• Answering phone calls and transferring if needed
• Assist patrons in operating copy machine
• Handle fines and cash register/cash box
• Other duties assigned by Head of Circulation, Children’s or Teen Librarians, and Library Director
• Off duty tasks may include shelving, making displays, or using paper cutter
